  20. Well, I am using MapleV for General-Relativistic calculations. I am using GRTensorII
  21. and i have written myself a package for abstract tensor calculations, that runs
  22. fine under maplevr1. After I get MapleVr3 i had to do lot of changes in the code
  23. in spite of using the official documentation. But ok.

  25. After installing MapleVr3 i was very happy to use GRTensorII, but i think the
  26. development of GRTEnsor will continue and one day it will run under MapleVrX
  27. (with X > 3) only.

  29. Second i am interested and working with partial differential equations. There are
  30. coming up packages under MapleVr4 that will get more features under MapleVr5,6,7
  31. (i think).

  33. So there are many reasons (for me!) to be on the "bleeding edge" :)

  36. Currently i am going to test Shape-Shifter and (if it exists) a demo
  37. version of MapleVr4 for Macs.
