- Well, I am using MapleV for General-Relativistic calculations. I am using GRTensorII
- and i have written myself a package for abstract tensor calculations, that runs
- fine under maplevr1. After I get MapleVr3 i had to do lot of changes in the code
- in spite of using the official documentation. But ok.
-
- After installing MapleVr3 i was very happy to use GRTensorII, but i think the
- development of GRTEnsor will continue and one day it will run under MapleVrX
- (with X > 3) only.
-
- Second i am interested and working with partial differential equations. There are
- coming up packages under MapleVr4 that will get more features under MapleVr5,6,7
- (i think).
-
- So there are many reasons (for me!) to be on the "bleeding edge" :)
-
-
- Currently i am going to test Shape-Shifter and (if it exists) a demo
- version of MapleVr4 for Macs.
-
- Greetings Michael
